My Story

Art has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. Ever since I could hold a pencil, I felt drawn to capture the beauty, the mystery, and the spirit of the world around me. My dad, a hobbyist landscape painter who worked with watercolours, was my first inspiration. But when it came time to choose a career, I was told that art wasn’t a "real job" and was steered toward animal care instead.
Life had other plans. An accident led to surgery, leaving me with nerve damage that I still live with today. Seeking a fresh start, I moved to Wales—only to face another challenge when my dad was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease. Caring for him taught me how fleeting and precious life is, a lesson that hit even harder when he passed away. That moment led me back to my first love: art.
I have a deep connection with animals—their presence is grounding, their emotions complex, and their ability to communicate through subtle gestures fascinates me. Having worked closely with them, I see the unspoken stories they tell. My art is my way of preserving those fleeting moments, capturing not just their form but their essence—their soul.
When I create, music fills my space, guiding my emotions. Love, loss, and resilience are all woven into my process. Each piece I make is more than an image—it's a tribute to the profound bond between humans and nature. I hope my work reminds others that we are not just onlookers in this world; we are a part of nature too. My goal is to bring people joy, to evoke memories, and to keep the connection between us and the animals we cherish alive.
