My Story

Art has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. My first inspiration was my dad, a hobbyist landscape painter who worked with watercolours. From the moment I could hold a pencil, I felt a pull to capture the beauty and spirit of the world around me.

Life took me down different paths — from working in animal care to overcoming personal health challenges and the loss of my dad to Motor Neurone Disease. His journey taught me how fleeting and precious life is, and ultimately guided me back to my first love: art.

Animals have always been at the heart of that journey. Their presence is grounding, their emotions complex, and their ability to communicate through subtle gestures endlessly fascinates me. My art is a way of preserving those fleeting moments, capturing not just their form but their essence — their soul.

When I create, I aim to honour the deep bond between humans and nature. Each portrait is more than an image — it’s a tribute, a story, and a reminder that we are part of nature, not apart from it. My goal is to bring people joy, evoke memories, and keep alive the connections we share with the animals we love.
