Commission a Custom Artwork
Custom pet portraits and animal artwork, created with care and attention to detail.
How It Works: My Commission Process
Ordering a commission is a simple and collaborative process. Here’s how it works:
🔹 Step 1: Share Your Vision
Fill out the commission form with details about your pet or subject, preferred size, background choice, and any special requests. If you’re unsure about any details, I’m happy to guide you through the options.
🔹 Step 2: Reference Photo Review
Once I receive your form, I’ll review your reference photos and discuss any necessary adjustments. If multiple photos are provided, I can create a digital composition for you to approve before I begin.
🔹 Step 3: Securing Your Spot
A 50% deposit is required to secure your commission. If you prefer, I offer flexible payment options, such as a 30% deposit followed by smaller instalments until the full balance is paid. Work begins once the initial payment is received.
🔹 Step 4: Bringing Your Artwork to Life
Throughout the process, I’ll share progress updates and give you the opportunity to provide feedback. You’ll receive up to three revisions included in the price, with additional changes available at £20 per revision.
🔹 Step 5: Final Approval & Delivery
Once your artwork is completed and approved, the remaining balance is due. Your finished portrait will be carefully packaged and shipped via a tracked and insured service, requiring a signature upon delivery.
Price List & Available Sizes
All commissions are created in pastels unless a special request is made for another medium.

Additional Notes:
✔ Prices do not include framing.
✔ Backgrounds can be solid colour, softly blended, or lightly detailed (additional charges may apply for complex backgrounds).
✔ Shipping is calculated separately.
Reference Photo Guide
To create a detailed and lifelike portrait, I rely on high-quality reference photos. Here are some tips for choosing the best images:
✅ Clear and Sharp – The image should not be pixelated or blurry when zoomed in.
✅ Good Lighting – Natural daylight works best. Avoid flash photography, as it can distort colours.
✅ Close-Up Details – The best portraits come from images that clearly show your pet’s eyes, fur texture, and markings.
✅ True-to-Life Colours – Photos should accurately represent your pet’s natural coat colour.
🐾 What if my pet has passed away?
I understand that sometimes, the available photos may not be ideal. If your pet has passed, I will work with the images you have and discuss the best course of action to create a portrait that truly honors their memory.
